Adejisola Atiba 

Founder and President


Adejisola Atiba is a digital transformation-change and workforce management-financial planning-comm. leader. A 2020 RBC global citizen awardee, Adejisola is a people manager with RBC Royal bank of Canada. she has been working with RBC for 15 years. she is a retail banking specialist, a team player, result focused, and a consummate high achiever. prior to this role she was a branch manager, where she led her branch to senior manager level. Adejisola was also a financial planner for 4 years; she provided integrated planning advice with a focus to retain and grow a portfolio of high-potential and high-value clients. Adejisola moved into leadership role because of her passion to build leaders. 


a coach, mentor, and community leader. she believes in paying it forward and so very much involved in her community, was a steering committee member of federation of black Canadian, and co-founder of black empowerment council of Canada. she is a volunteer with JA central Ontario, united way Canada, a mentor with access employment and TRIEC, an ambassador with Algoma university and founder of council of Nigerian professionals.


a lifelong learner, she recently completed her EMBA in digital transformation with DeGroote business school, McMaster university. she holds an accounting diploma from Yaba college of technology, Lagos Nigeria; BSc in banking and finance from Olabisi Onabanjo university Nigeria; Bachelor’s in business administration with minor in human resource management “honors” with Algoma university, Ontario Canada; and has the personal financial planning (PFP) designation with many professional certifications.


she is married with two children. when she is not working or studying, she enjoys spending time with her family, travelling, reading, volunteering, and watching movies.

Ebere Morgan, Ph.D.
Member, Board of Directors

A leadership consultant, executive strategist, professional coach, author, educator, and communicator. He advances though leadership in multiple professional disciplines including clinical neurological health, health leadership, healthcare strategies, research, leadership development and strategic foresight. He possesses a wide international exposure as a professional and academic under several healthcare, business and leadership bringing added exponential value in various professional and organizational contexts. He sits on various corporate boards and advisory councils at local, provincial and international levels where he lends his critical skills, experience and acumen in system governance, policy creation, development and implementation.


Dr Morgan presently deploys unassailable competence, intellectual horsepower, eclectic knowledge and sound expertise in generation effective powerhouse and sustainable transformational change to people and organizations across continental divides. A dynamic communicator, Dr Morgan is sought after speaker. He thoroughly engages individuals, groups and organizations alike to power elevate as a commitment to his mission to inspire purpose and possibilities in people. One entity at a time!


Dr Morgan is the President and CEO of Deztiny Strategies Inc and is passionate about people, organizations and all things leadership. He holds a doctorate in leadership & strategic change and serves as a professor and research scholar in multiple institutions of higher learning and professional bodies.

Olugbenga Fakoyejo 
VP, Western Canada

He is passionate about building connections, relationships, collaboration, and valuing the perspectives of others. 


He is very active in community activities that promote incredible conversations, sharing of knowledge, resources, mentoring, and coaching that is focused on helping and supporting immigrants thrive professionally and socially in Canada.


Derrick Amo Anim  
VP, Finance

Derrick Amo Anim is a seasoned Chartered Banker with in-depth expertise in Credit risk management, entrepreneurial and business portfolio development. He is currently an Entrepreneurship Relationship Manager at the Federation of African Canadian Economics (FACE)—with a central focus on providing business advisory and coaching services to develop and grow entrepreneurial initiatives in the community, assessing and managing lending risks and enhancing FACE’s engagement with stakeholders. 


Derricks walk on the path of credit management and business development began after he graduated as the youngest Chartered Banker in Ghana in the year 2009, and he further on pursued an MBA in Banking and Finance with Paris Graduate School of Management in France-Paris. 


Upon being equipped with invaluable knowledge in banking and finance, Derrick began his career as a management trainee with International Commercial Banking Group where he rose through the ranks and participated majorly on the integration committee during the acquisition of the Bank’s Ghana brand by First Bank Nigeria. He rose on in career to establish and head the Credit Origination and Monitoring department of Consolidated Bank Ghana until moving to Canada in July 2022 and joined FACE Coalition exactly a month after arrival.


Over the past year in FACE, he has been phenomenal in supporting black owned businesses in Canada by providing expert financing advice to support businesses to scale up in line with FACE’s mission of creating sustainable generational wealth in the black community.


He has repeatedly demonstrated his ability to provide cutting-edge and custom-fit financing solutions for Black entrepreneurs in Canada with a high rate of success.

He has a high drive for community impact and has been a volunteer of the Council of Nigerian Professionals since July 2022.


Efuange Khumbah 
VP, Ontario

Efuange Khumbah is an Environmental Engineer licensed to practise in Ontario. He is responsible for helping companies repair or prevent damage caused to the soil, groundwater and drinking water. He has managed environmental projects for the public and private sector across Canada. He has served as pre-purchase environmental due-diligence expert in sectors such as automotive, aerospace, oil and gas, and mining industries. He has consulted for several institutions including the City of Richmond hill, City of Mississauga, City of Oshawa and Town of New Market. He is the founder and moderator of Perspective Nation and a volunteer of CNP.


Mosunmola Afolabi  
Director, Mentorship Initiatives

Mosunmola Afolabi is an accomplished Financial Planner Associate at Royal Bank of Canada, bringing her expertise and passion for helping clients. She is also the visionary Founder of Mom's Sorrel, a healthy drink brand. Mosunmola holds a BSc in Banking and Finance, as well as an MBA from the University of Lagos. With a strong educational background and extensive experience in the finance industry, Mosunmola is committed to providing tailored financial advice that meets the unique needs of each client. She takes pride in delivering exceptional client experiences by offering personalized solutions and actively listening to their goals and concerns. Mosunmola's expertise extends beyond providing financial advice; she excels in resolving complex problems and preventing potential issues through proactive measures. Building strong rapport with clients is at the heart of Mosunmola's approach. Jo-Ann Young Udoh 
Director, Entrepreneurial Ventures

Jo-Ann Young Udoh is the founder and creative director of Rubicorn Event Management. She is a dynamic and accomplished Project Manager with a flair for creating unforgettable events. Jo-Ann brings a unique blend of organizational prowess and creative finesse to every project she undertakes. Her creative spirit, coupled with her meticulous planning and execution, has translated into a portfolio of successful events ranging from corporate conferences, product launches to weddings and social gatherings.


She believes that each event is a unique opportunity to craft memorable experiences and works tirelessly to ensure every detail exceeds expectations. Rochele Padiachy
Director of Program Development and Event Management

Rochele Padiachy and her family left Johannesburg, South Africa during the apartheid regime to Canada as refugees. Rochele's formative years were supported by the wisdom teachings of Ubuntu which anchor the deep connection between self and community.  Nurtured by both formal and ancestral teachers, Rochele's life experiences have greatly inspired her educational aspirations as well as her lifelong commitment to transformative social justice . Rochele holds a masters degree in Human Security and Peacebuilding from Royal Roads University and a BA in Multiculturalism and Indigenous Studies with a focus on race, ethnicity and indigeneity from York University. Her research interests include exploring the intersections of diverse ethnic-epistemologies within organizational structures. Rochele currently works with the Canadian Centre for Diversity and Inclusion as a manager of learning and knowledge solutions.


Dr. Ayoade Adeyemi  
Director, Member Relations

Dr. Ayoade Adeyemi (also known as Ay Morgan) is a business strategist and management consultant with over two decades of experience in Human Resources, Enterprise Development, Marketing, and Project Management. He’s a recipient of numerous awards, to mention a few, the Global Mentor Award 2022, and the Rotary International Distinguished Regional Service Award. He lectures at a college in Toronto, Canada. He belongs to the membership of many professional associations in Canada. He’s a Rotarian and an environmental sustainability advocate.


Stella Agomuo(Stellagreat)
Director, Community Relations and Outreach

As a dynamic leader at the intersection of marketing and e-commerce, she brings a wealth of experience as a seasoned director and serial entrepreneur. With a proven track record, she specializes in web development, strategic solutions, and crafting effective marketing plans. In various leadership roles, she has accelerated success and delivered tangible results. Currently serving as a volunteer in the role of Director for Community Engagement, she is dedicated to merging tech expertise with a passion for community impact to drive positive change.


Adebola Banjo
Advisory Board

Is the Lead Pastor Of King's Court, RCCG in Brampton.  He also works in the Public Sector in Ontario as an IT Consultant.  He is an avid lover of Nature and seeks ways to preserve and protect the environment. His passion is to seek equality for the under-privileged and confront injustice of any kind in our community. He also Leads the Anti-Black Racism Initiative in his Cluster at the Ontario Government. He is married with kids.


Sade Akhigbe 
Advisory Board

Born in Sydney, Australia, and growing up in Ibadan, Nigeria, Folasade (Sade) Akhigbe came to Canada in 1999 from Nigeria looking for a better life for herself and her family. While in Canada, she has successfully done so, becoming the first black person to be hired in the IT Department of the company she works for.


Since then, she has gone on to become a Senior Network Engineer and has been recognized numerous times for her accomplishments, knowledge, skills and abilities during her tenure. She has over 30 years of experience in the Information Technology sector and continues to make an impact within her field. She is also a Pastor of Godways International Ministry based Mississauga, ON.


She is also involved in her alma mater contributing to giving back to the schools she previously attended. Alongside her other endeavors, she assists in event planning and is also involved in running non for profit organizations such as The Black Diamond Awards etc. Sade is also a wife and a mother of three grown children. She looks to continue to influence those around her and wants to encourage people to have a vision for their life so that they succeed


Claire Nsong 
Director, Public Relations

Claire Nsong is a dedicated professional with a strong background in education, leadership, and community development. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Education with a specialization in Curriculum Studies and Teaching from the University of Buea, Cameroon.


With over 10 years of experience in the banking industry, Claire has gained valuable expertise and is currently working for a Crown Corporation. As a certified Scrum Master, Claire is well-versed in agile methodologies and is passionate about leading teams in their agile journey. She excels in coaching, mentoring, and guiding teams towards successful project management and delivery. Claire's commitment to fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment has proven instrumental in her role. Beyond her professional endeavors, Claire is actively involved in various community initiatives.


She serves as the President of the Victoria Association Canada (Cameroon), contributing to the promotion of cultural unity and strengthening ties within the Cameroonian diaspora. Additionally, she holds the position of Vice President of her Alma Mater (Queen of the Rosary College , Okoyong) where she actively supports its growth and development. Claire's dedication to service extends further as she volunteers her time and expertise with the CNP Inc., making a positive impact in the lives of individuals and families through French lessons . With her extensive experience, education background, and commitment to community development, Claire Nsong brings a unique and valuable perspective to her professional and volunteer work, inspiring those around her. Claire loves spending quality time with family, reading, cooking, and hanging out with her girlfriends.
